Geography Monday: Puerto Rico

This week our travels bring us to Puerto Rico !

Here are some things that we learned this week:

1.  The average temperature is 82 degrees!  That would be awesome!!

2.  The Caribbean National Forest is here and has 28,000 acres of rainforest.  It receives more than 100 billion gallons of rain a year!

We also added these books and DVD to our study.  You can go HERE to see the other books that we use.

Coqui frog
This frog is named for the sound that it makes.  There are 13-16 different species of this frog in Puerto Rico.

Stay tuned for next weeks adventures as we travel to Jamaica!

Blessings!!
