     Welcome back to week 31!!  Hope everyone is learning a lot and enjoying spending time in the word with your kids!  You will have to excuse the lack of pictures the past couple of weeks.  My scanner is down and I am will be getting a new one in a couple of weeks.  Sorry!

Day 211  Isaiah 59-63

     The rest of Isaiah  is about the future of God's people.  Chapter 59 talks about the plea to Israel to forsake their sins.
     The end of Chapter 59 through chapter 61:11 is about the future blessings of Zion.
     Chapter 62 is about the deliverance of Zion.
     Chapter 63 is a prayer for deliverance.

Day 212 Isaiah 64-66
     Chapter 64 is a continuation of chapter 63.
     Chapter 65-66 is the Lord's answer for Israel.

Day 213 2 Kings 21; 2 Chronicles 33

     2 Kings 21 and 2 Chronicles 33 is about the reign of the evil Mannasseh and Amon.
Day 214 Nahum 1-3

     Chapter 1 discusses the justice and power of God and how the Assyrians were overthrown.
     Chapter 2 talks about Nineveh's destruction forthcoming.  It also talks about their sin.
     Chapter 3  talks about the sins and judgement of Nineveh, and its destruction

Day 215 Zephaniah 1-3

     Chapter 1 is about threats against sinners.
     Chapter 2 is a call to repentance and judgement upon upon other nations.
     Chapter 3 is about sin and encouragement to look for mercy.  It also talks about the promises of future prosperity.

Day 216 2 Kings 22-23; 2 Chronicles 34-35

     2 Kings 22 is about Josiah's reign.  He also repaired the temple and the book of the law is found.
     In 2 Kings 23, Josiah reads the law and renews the covenant.  He puts an end to idolatry and had a passover.  We see Josiah is slain, followed by the evil reigns of Johoahaz and Jehoiakim.
     2 Chronicles 34 is about the reign of Josiah.
     2 Chronicles 35 talks about how Josiah kept the passover and how he was slain in battle.
