Series: Bible in a year with your kids Week#10 FREE Pack

Day 64  Numbers 29-32

     Chapter 29 talks about the offerings at the feast of trumpets, day of atonement, and the feast of the tabernacles.
     Chapter 30 discusses how vows are to be kept and how they could be released from them.
     In chapter 31 we read about the war with Midian and how Balaam is slain.
     In chapter 32 the tribes of Reuben and Gad request an inheritance to the east of the Jordan River and Moses reproves them.  They explain their views and Moses allows them to take the land.


Day 65 Numbers 33-36

     Chapter 33 tells us of the encampments of the Israelites and that the Canaanites are to be destroyed.
     Chapter 34 the explanation of the promised land is given and there are appointments to divide the land.
     In chapter 35 the cities of the Levites and of refuge are discussed.  Also the laws about murder.
     In chapter 36 the inheritnace of the daughters of Zelophehad and how they are to marry in their own tribe is discussed.
Draw a picture of the promise land.


Day 66  Deuteronomy 1-3

     Chapter 1 is where Moses talks to Israel in Moab and the promise of Canaan.  Judges are provided for them and spies are sent.  God is angry for their unbelief and disobedience.
     Chapter 2 tells us that the Edomites,Moabites, and the Ammorites are to be spared.  The Amorites are to be destroyed.
     In chapter 3 we learn about the conquest of Og the king of Bashan.  Joshua is encouraged by Moses.
Draw a picture of Caleb and Joshua.


Day 67  Deuteronomy 4-7

     Chapter 4 there are warnings against disobedience and the promise of mercy.  The cities of refuge are appointed.
     Chapter 5 begins with the covenant in Horeb and the 10 commandments are repeated.
     Chapter 6 talks about obedience, while chapter 7 discusses promises if they were obedient.


Day 68  Deuteronomy 8-11

     Chapter 8 cautions are enforced by God.
     Chapter 9 is reminding the Israelites that their success did not come from their own worthiness.
     Chapter 10 shows God's mercy on Israel after their rebellion.
     In chapter 11 the great work of God for Israel is shown along with promises and threats are set forth.


     Day 69  Deuteronomy 12-15
   
     Chapters 12 and 13 talks about the idolatry.  They are to destroy idols, put to death if they commit idolatry.
     Chapter 14 tells us that the Israelites are to distinguish themselves from other nations.
     Chapter 15 talks about the year of release.
Draw or write some things that we use today
that can border on idolatry.
Day 70 No reading.
