Poppins Book Nook: Weather and giveaway!!

Welcome back to another month of Poppins Book Nook!!  

This month was weather.  We chose the book Maisy's Wonderful Weather Book by Lucy Cousins.

For our activity, I had him do a quilt weather art project.  I pulled out our Draw! Write! Now!  book and picked out a picture.  I had him draw it once.  Then I made copies of it on the copier.

I then had him color each one with 4 different weather scenes.  He did snowy, stormy, sunny, and rainbow.

Then we arranged them on a bigger piece of paper and cut strips of construction paper to serve as out border for the quilt.
